Residing in Tennessee, Loudermilk was reportedly en route to his family home. According to police reports, he was involved in a prior, less severe accident with another large truck on the northbound lanes of I-75. Following that encounter, both drivers exited their vehicles and left the scene before Loudermilk was subsequently struck by a third vehicle.
