Fatal Stone County car crash death of Angela Coats
Stone County authorities announced that a resident of Diamondhead met their untimely demise in a tragic vehicular mishap within the county limits this past Thursday.
Ms. Coats, who was 64 years old, was operating her 2017 Harley Davidson motorcycle eastbound on Highway 26 at around 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
The sequence of events leading to the collision remains shrouded in mystery as law enforcement probes the incident. The motorcycle veered off the road, making contact with a bridge support structure.
First responders arrived promptly at the location and pronounced Ms. Coats deceased due to the severe nature of her injuries.
