Fatal Colorado Springs motorcycle crash death of Randy Dibuono
The Colorado Springs Police Department announced the identity of the individual who lost their life in a motorcycle collision on North Union Boulevard and Garmish Road, close to Vickers Drive, on Tuesday, August 12. This incident marks the second fatality at that specific intersection in the current week.
Police reports indicate that officers arrived at the scene around 3:45 p.m. on August 12 to find a motorcyclist involved in striking another vehicle at the junction. The rider was pronounced deceased at the location, and no other people were harmed.
The Major Crash Team assumed command of the probe and determined that speeding was likely a contributing factor in the collision.
On Wednesday, August 13, the El Paso County Coroner’s Office performed an autopsy and confirmed the deceased as 41-year-old Randy Dibuono, a resident of Colorado Springs.
CSPD indicated that this incident represents the 36th traffic-related death in Colorado Springs during 2025. In contrast, at the same point in 2024, there were 37 recorded traffic fatalities in the area.
