Fatal Slaton car crash death of Brian King
The Texas Department of Public Safety has officially identified the individual who lost his life in the serious collision that took place close to Slaton on Friday morning. The fatality was a result of the accident occurring shortly before 4 a.m.
According to the authorities, the deceased, a man named Brian King, was 51 years old and originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado. At the time of the crash, King was reported to be traveling on the opposite side of Highway 84, and this led to a collision with a pickup truck just before CR 3100. This dangerous maneuver caused the fatal incident.
Emergency services were dispatched quickly to the scene and conveyed King to University Medical Center. Despite the medical attention received, King was pronounced deceased by Saturday at the hospital.
The occupants of the pickup truck involved in the collision were also transported to University Medical Center. These individuals sustained injuries classified as moderate, but they were reported to be out of immediate danger.
