Fatal Conway shooting death of Lester Goldsmith
The county’s official examiner of deaths has officially confirmed the identity of the individual killed in the deadly shooting event that took place near the bar.
Lester Goldsmith, who was 41 years of age, was identified as the deceased person shot, and he was reported to have passed away in the hospital due to the injuries sustained while working at Rascals Bar, according to Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard.
Based on statements from the local law enforcement agency, officers arrived at the scene around 9:53 p.m. on Friday after receiving reports of gunfire in the vicinity of 1221 16th Avenue. Further investigation revealed that this address is linked to Rascal’s Bar & Grill.
Law enforcement authorities have so far apprehended three men who are being held accountable for their involvement in the shooting incident.
Earlier news coverage mentioned that a third person was arrested in connection with the bar shooting in Horry County, and it was reported that one individual sustained injuries during the shooting at the Conway bar; continue to follow updates from WMBF News.
