The Winnebago County Coroner’s Office has identified the individual killed in a recent motorcycle incident in Rockford. The victim, Ralph Fry, aged 65, was operating his motorcycle on August 2nd when his vehicle collided head-on with a passenger car at the intersection of Springfield Avenue and Montague Road.
Emergency personnel discovered Fry suffering from critical injuries at the scene and immediately transported him to a local hospital. Despite the medical intervention, Fry succumbed to his injuries later that day. The official cause of death, as confirmed by autopsy, was the severe trauma sustained during the collision.
