A tragic incident occurred at Witton Country Park when a tree branch fell on Madia Kauser, 32. This fatal accident happened in Blackburn, Lancashire.
Ms. Kauser was visiting the park with her husband, Wasim Khan, and their two children. Their outing took place on Monday evening.
According to reports, her final action was to protect her five-year-old daughter from the falling branch. She moved a nearby chair to create space between her and her child.
Mr. Khan and their nine-year-old son were ahead when the branch fell. They immediately returned to the scene upon noticing what happened to Ms. Kauser.
Emergency services responded quickly to the area. Despite their efforts, they were unable to save Ms. Kauser. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following this devastating event, people are offering their condolences. Former mayor and councillor Zamir Khan MBE, who is also Ms. Kauser’s uncle, confirmed the details to the authorities. He stated that his niece had sacrificed her safety to save her daughter.
He added that the children are deeply affected by the tragedy. It is suggested that they will no longer be able to enjoy visits to the park.
Councillor Khan described Ms. Kauser as a very kind mother and person. One of the boys witnessed the accident and was traumatized by the experience.
