The fatal Marin Headlands hiking accident death of Aaron Baten Gramajo
Family members have confirmed that Aaron Baten Gramajo, a seventeen-year-old from San Rafael, California, passed away last week following a hiking mishap. The incident occurred on Monday, August eleventh, at Marin Headlands, as reported by local media outlets KRON and KTVU.
A fundraising page initiated by the family was set up to assist them after Gramajo went on a hike and did not return home as expected. Cela Gramajo, the victim’s mother, contacted authorities when she discovered her son was missing and found his vehicle parked near the hiking area on the evening of August eleventh.
According to reports from the Marin Independent Journal, responding officials stated that Aaron Gramajo sustained severe injuries after suffering a fall from a significant height. Roger Fielding, the Chief Deputy Coroner for the Marin County Sheriff’s Office, declared the event an unfortunate accident and attributed the teen’s death directly to the blunt force trauma received during the fall.
