Fatal Clark train accident death of Brian Posch
A fatal incident involving a train occurred early Tuesday morning in Clark. Brian Posch, a 29-year-old resident of Clark in Union County, lost his life following a tragic collision with a Raritan Valley Line train.
The collision happened just east of the Cranford Station around 1:45 a.m. Tuesday. According to officials, the train left Newark Penn Station at 1:28 a.m. with its scheduled arrival in Raritan expected at 2:34 a.m. on Tuesday.
Emergency services responded to the scene, but the transit authority confirmed that none of the 25 passengers or crew members on board sustained injuries.
New Jersey Transit police are currently investigating the incident.
