According to the Tracy Police Department, the incident involved a fight among six teenagers, all aged 15 or 16, around 6:30 p.m. on August 18 in the 1600 block of Tahoe Circle.
Law enforcement reports indicate that Hermosillo was one of two individuals injured in the clash. Both participants were transported to a hospital, but Hermosillo succumbed to his injuries.
Hermosillo was described as a cherished son and grandson. The loss has left his mother, family, and friends deeply grief-stricken. A verified Go Fund Me page, created by his aunt, Graciela Villa, is seeking donations to cover funeral and memorial expenses.
Graciela Villa shared her sentiments on the fundraising page, stating, “No mother/family should go through this pain.”
