Law enforcement reports indicate a fatal shooting event transpired in Harvey nearly nine hours following 1 a.m. According to official identification, the individual killed was Tupac Shakur Robinson, aged 24, from unincorporated Gretna. At approximately 9:20 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office received a second dispatch detailing gunfire, this time reported in the 1200 block of Aberdeen Street within Harvey, as stated by Veal. While officers searched the affected area, they located Robinson, who was suffering injuries, inside a car situated one street away on Lochlomand Drive in the 1300 block, according to Veal’s account.
Officials confirmed Robinson had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Medical personnel at the scene pronounced him deceased. The investigating team concluded Robinson was struck by the gunfire while operating his vehicle. Following the shooting, his car collided with several parked automobiles before stopping. As for Tuesday afternoon, no suspects had been apprehended in connection with this incident.
