Fatal Watertown shooting death of Nadia Abrahamian, Karine Asatryan, and David Minasvand

Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan indicated on Tuesday that three individuals found deceased within a Watertown, Massachusetts, residence have been identified and the cause of their demise has been determined to be a double-murder-suicide. According to official reports, law enforcement personnel responded to a residence located on Boyd Street on Sunday morning after receiving a request for a wellness check. Upon arrival, officers discovered the three inhabitants deceased, with all fatalities attributed to gunshot wounds.

Initial investigative findings suggest that Nadia Abrahamian, aged 80, and Karine Asatryan, aged 35, were killed by David Minasvand, who was 31 years old, inside the premises. Following the alleged killings of the two women, Mr. Minasvand apparently took his own life through a self-inflicted gunshot wound. It is reported that these three victims were the sole occupants of the dwelling at the time the incident occurred. The residence they occupied contained them entirely.

Further details released by the District Attorney’s office state that the older female victim resided on one level of the house, whereas the other two individuals, including a newborn infant, lived on the lower floor in a separate section of the building. The infant was not present during the time of the shooting incident. Officials have confirmed that a broader investigation into the circumstances surrounding these deaths is currently underway.
