Hartford police authorities have officially identified the deceased individual involved in the fatal shooting incident on Brook Street. According to police reports.
Hartford police officials confirmed that 43-year-old Dwight Watson is the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred on Brook Street. Sgt. Chris Mastroianni of the Hartford police stated that Watson was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital following the shooting event. The incident happened in the 100 block of Brook Street around 8:50 p.m. on Sunday.
Further details indicate that another person was involved in this shooting incident. Mastroanni mentioned that this second individual was transported to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
The investigating Hartford police department has assigned its Major Crimes Division and Crime Scene Division to look into this shooting incident.
