Fatal New City car crash death of Andrew Pinos, Larry Buestan, and a 14-year-old female from Stony Point, NY
On the early morning of Sunday, September 28, 2025, at about 3:00 a.m., the Clarkstown Police were called to a serious motor vehicle incident near the junction of North Little Tor Road and Roberts Road in New City. When officers arrived, they found a single-vehicle accident involving a Honda Civic that was driving north on North Little Tor Road.
Initial findings from the ongoing probe suggest the car veered off the road and crashed into a tree, causing significant damage. Unfortunately, all three people in the car were pronounced dead at the scene by the responding emergency medical teams.
The Clarkstown Police Department has confirmed the identities of the victims: Andrew Pinos, who was 20 and from Nanuet, NY; Larry Buestan, who was 18 and from Thiells, NY; and a 14-year-old female from Stony Point, NY whose name was not disclosed.
This accident is still being looked into by the Accident Investigation Team from the Clarkstown Police Department. They are asking anyone who saw what happened or has any information to contact the Traffic Unit at (845) 639-5800.
