Riverside County’s official investigator for death cases confirmed that the deceased individual was seventy-four-year-old Craig Van Bargen from New York. According to the authorities, the accident took place after 9:30 p.m. close to the junction of North Palm Canyon Drive and North Via Las Palmas.
Those looking into the matter state that Mr. Van Bargen was crossing the street within a designated pedestrian crossing area when he collided with an automobile. The designated crossing included a system of lights intended to caution drivers, however, it seems these lights were not functional at the time of the accident, according to the police.
