The Oswego County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the death of a Palermo man following a collision between two motor vehicles Friday afternoon. The fatal incident occurred in the Town of New Haven.

Investigators stated the accident happened around 5:31 p.m. on September 26th, 2025, at the junction of Mack Road, Pleasant Point Drive, and County Route 1. According to preliminary reports, a Harley Davidson Road Glide motorcycle traveling west on County Route 1 collided with a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 pickup truck. The pickup truck was making a left turn from Mack Road.

The driver of the pickup truck, identified as Dylan Mannise, a resident of New Haven, suffered only minor injuries. Jerry Davis, from Palermo, was the sole passenger on the motorcycle.
