The tragic incident unfolded on Sunday, September 21, at roughly the same hour before noon, in the area encompassing the 3300 block of South Zuni Street in Sheridan, as confirmed by local law enforcement. Shortly before the time of the event, the individual who suffered the fatal wound was shot while entering his car, with the suspect promptly fleeing the scene. Scott Yarmon, described as being 44 years of age, was taken to Swedish Medical Center but later succumbed to the injuries he sustained.
On the subsequent Friday, September 26, the Sheridan Police Department disclosed that they had apprehended Anthony Trujillo, who is 38 years old, in relation to this homicide. No further particulars regarding the case have been made public.
