The Dorchester County Coroner’s office has officially confirmed the identity of the person who died in the highway accident on I-95, which occurred on the previous Saturday.
This individual, whose full name is David Brian Casey, was a man residing in Gloversville, New York, and was 69 years old according to official records.
The official report from the coroner’s office states that the accident took place on September 27th at approximately 3:30 a.m. At that time, Casey’s car was hit from behind by another vehicle, and this happened while the vehicle was traveling on I-95 near mile marker 78.
Emergency medical services were dispatched to the scene. Casey was then transported by these services to a hospital located nearby. Despite the medical attention received, he was later declared deceased at the hospital.
Law enforcement authorities, specifically the South Carolina Highway Patrol, along with the Dorchester County Coroner’s Office, are currently looking into the details of this incident.
