Hotel staff uncovered the body of the 27-year-old worker near the deep end of the swimming pool at approximately 6:30 in the morning of Sunday, the 28th of September.
Investigators are examining whether Taras had been socializing by the pool following his previous night’s duties. The precise sequence of events remains undetermined, with experts considering various potential causes, such as a medical emergency or an unfortunate mishap.
The incident transpired at the Minerva Resort Hotel Paestum, located in Capaccio, which is situated to the south-east of Naples in Italy, as per the Need To Know report.
Taras, who had seasonal employment at the hotel, recently resumed his university studies. Colleagues recognized him as a coworker.
His companions described him as intelligent, hardworking, and joyful, without any signs of extravagance. A friend, who was grief-stricken, mentioned that he was a courteous and amiable young man, lacking any domineering qualities.
A post-mortem examination has been requested as authorities persist with their inquiries.
