Bradenton authorities have confirmed the identity of the woman discovered severely injured outside her automobile in a residential area on Sunday night. Tragically, she succumbed to her injuries shortly after the discovery.

Police officers responded to the scene around 8:30 p.m. Sunday following a report of a motor vehicle accident in the 2100 block of Eighth Avenue East. Upon arrival, they encountered a woman suffering from grave injuries that did not correspond to the nature of the initial collision.

The police spokeswoman emphasized that her wounds were exceptionally severe, leading to her passing at the location. Homicide experts have been assigned to this case, indicating suspicions of foul play.

Her identification was kept confidential until her family in Venezuela could be informed, as per the police directive.

A nearby resident, Esther Salters, stated that it was her nephew who used her phone to alert the authorities. She mentioned she could not see the incident from her window and relied on her nephew to take her outside.

According to Salters, the injured woman was writhing on the ground in considerable pain. She expressed helplessness, noting she could not assist due to the woman’s distress.

Other local residents expressed shock and dismay upon learning of the incident. One resident commented on the unfortunate turn of events.
