Fatal Tabernacle Township dirt bike crash death of Joseph Hartman
New Jersey State Police confirmed that a 23-year-old man died, and another individual suffered serious injuries, following a collision between two off-road vehicles on a road in Burlington County. Authorities arrived at the scene on Goosepond Road in Tabernacle Township shortly after 7:25 p.m. on Friday, October 3.
Preliminary findings from the investigation indicate Joseph Hartman, who was 23 years old and from Tabernacle, was riding a dirt bike on that road when he crashed into another dirt bike ridden by a 20-year-old from Shamong. The younger rider suffered significant injuries as a result of the incident.
The ongoing investigation has not released further details at this time.
