**Jacob Langley dies in fatal Aiken car crash**
Fatal Aiken car crash death of Jacob Langley
A 21-year-old individual identified as Jacob Langley lost their life in a collision involving two motor vehicles on Saturday in Aiken County, authorities confirmed.
According to investigators, the incident occurred at approximately 1:03 p.m. The crash was reported at the intersection of Wagener Road and Flowing Wells Road. Officials stated that a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado, moving eastbound on Wagener Road, collided with a 1991 GMC Sonoma. The occupants of the Sonoma were maneuvering to turn left onto Flowing Wells Road at the time of impact. Both vehicles were reported to have departed the roadway and subsequently ended up in a nearby pond.
Aiken County Coroner Darryl Ables officially identified the deceased as Jacob Langley. He passed away at the scene at approximately 1:40 p.m. The coroner has scheduled an autopsy for the upcoming week in Newberry. The driver and passenger within the Chevrolet Silverado were not reported to have suffered serious injuries.
The involved vehicles crashed under the jurisdiction of the South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Aiken County Coroner’s Office.
