A 20-year-old woman from Paterson has been confirmed dead following a hit-and-run incident in Clifton over the weekend. The fatal collision occurred on Saturday morning, resulting in the death of Kamaya Young, who was struck by a vehicle and left unattended on the roadside.
Local authorities were alerted to the scene after receiving reports around 8:12 a.m. At that time, emergency responders discovered Kamaya Young along with scattered debris from another automobile nearby on Route 21 North, close to the Exit 9 interchange leading to Route 3 West. Medical examiners determined that the individual, identified as Kamaya Young, had passed away at the scene.
