Fatal Fort Worth shooting death of Chandrashekar Pole
Law enforcement personnel located the unfortunate adult male individual employed at a fueling station following an emergency report received by Fort Worth Police on the night of Friday, October 3, 2025. The identity of the deceased person was confirmed as Chandrashekar Pole, a 28-year-old resident.
Not long after the initial incident, the accused individual, Richard Florez, who was 23 years of age, was observed driving away from the Eastchase Pkwy location. Subsequent reports indicate he proceeded south for approximately one mile and discharged multiple rounds towards a vehicle that was occupied at the time. Fortunately, no individuals sustained injuries during this reported passing shooting incident.
Further investigation revealed that Florez eventually drove to a residence situated on Meadowbrook Dr. It is alleged that he attempted to force entry by damaging a security gate and breaking into the property. Police confirmed that no individuals inside were harmed during this attempted intrusion.
Upon arriving at the Meadowbrook Drive address, law enforcement successfully apprehended Florez. A firearm was secured from his vehicle during the process. The suspect was then transported to a nearby medical facility for evaluation of his own injuries before being transferred back into police care.
