JUSTIN ROBERT FULLER dies in fatal NASHVILLE death fall
Fatal NASHVILLE death fall of JUSTIN ROBERT FULLER
NASHVILLE authorities reported a tragic incident Saturday afternoon involving a tandem skydiving accident. Emergency services, including the Nashville Fire Department and Metro Nashville Police Department, were dispatched to a wooded area near Ashland City Highway around 1 p.m. on October 4th for a high-angle rescue operation.
The involved parties were a 46-year-old student and his instructor, Justin Robert Fuller. According to reports, the two became separated during their jump when the instructor detached from the tandem equipment. The student’s reserve parachute automatically deployed, but he became entangled in a tree on Ashland City Highway after landing. Rescue teams located him several hours later via helicopter and managed his extraction down a ladder.
Meanwhile, it is believed Justin Robert Fuller suffered a death fall from the sky without deploying a parachute. His body was found later in a forested area along Ashland City Highway, several hours after the initial jump.
The aircraft used for the jump subsequently landed safely at John C. Tune Airport. Fortunately, three other skydivers from an earlier jump exited the plane without incident. The Federal Aviation Administration is currently examining the circumstances surrounding this skydiving mishap.
