The family of Chereiss Bailey expressed profound grief after her corpse was located submerged in a nearby canal. Her demise was confirmed on Tuesday morning.
West Midlands Police officers have initiated a murder probe following the fatal discovery. Charges have been formally filed against two individuals. John Anslow, aged 64, was presented at Worcester Magistrates’ Court facing accusations of homicide and obstructing a proper burial.
Chereiss Bailey, whose life was cherished by her kin, was pronounced deceased in the canal waters close to Ryders Green Road.
