MARK MALEY DIES IN FATAL LIGONIER TOWNSHIP CAR CRASH

Fatal LIGONIER TOWNSHIP Car Crash Death Of Mark MALEY

A man, identified by the Westmoreland County Coroner Tim Carson as Mark Maley, who was 65 years old, died in a collision occurring on Darlington Road on the morning of Saturday.

Westmoreland County Public Safety officials reported that emergency services were dispatched to the scene around 11 a.m.

Darlington Fire Chief Kurt Rose stated that Maley was driving downhill on Darlington Road when his car left the roadway and collided with a tree.

According to Carson, the official cause of death was determined to be injuries resulting from impact with a fixed object. The coroner further noted that Maley was not accompanied by any other individuals within the vehicle at the time of the incident.
