Identified by the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office is Marco Lorenzo Quintero, a 35-year-old individual from San Diego. He was involved in a fatal vehicle collision on the weekend in Lemon Grove. At the time of the event, Mr. Quintero was operating a bicycle when he was struck by a large pickup truck.
The incident occurred on Sunday evening near Troy Street. First responders located Mr. Quintero in the eastbound lane of the street. According to the medical findings, the truck driver made a right turn, which resulted in the cyclist being hit. Following the collision, emergency services transported Mr. Quintero to a medical facility. Despite the efforts at the hospital, he was declared deceased. The authorities have officially determined that his death was the result of an accident.
