KENNETH S. GOODSON DIES IN FATAL PULASKI COUNTY, VA. CAR CRASH
Fatal Pulaski County, Va. car crash death of Kenneth S. Goodson
A middle-aged man lost his life when his personal vehicle departed the roadway in Pulaski County, Virginia, according to state law enforcement. This occurred on a Saturday morning, approximately 9:45 a.m., close to the junction of Cougar Trail Road and Route 11. The individual, identified as Kenneth S. Goodson from Pulaski, was operating a 1999 Oldsmobile 88 that was heading south. Reports from authorities indicate that the driver deviated from the road, possibly due to an overcorrection, and subsequently lost vehicle command, crossing over to the opposite side into the central median barrier. The car then collided with a tree and ignited in flames. It is noted that Mr. Goodson was not secured by a seatbelt at the time of the incident.
The ongoing probe by the Virginia State Police continues to assess the circumstances surrounding this accident. Separately, the Roanoke Police Department is examining a potential firearms incident in the Northwest area of Roanoke, which is unrelated to the current fatality.
