The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office has officially identified the motorcyclist killed in a fatal collision on Thursday. This individual is Austin Hust, aged 28.

Cincinnati police authorities revealed that this fatal motorcycle crash occurred on Dalton Avenue within the Queensgate community. The incident is directly linked to an earlier reported violent incident involving both stabbing and shooting on Western Northern Boulevard.

When law enforcement officers arrived at Western Northern Boulevard, they observed a motorcyclist attempting to flee the scene. Despite officers’ efforts to intercept the vehicle at a traffic stop, the driver refused to comply and continued to evade capture. The chase persisted until the driver lost control of the motorcycle, resulting in a devastating crash on Dalton Avenue.

According to the Cincinnati Police Federation President, the motorcyclist, Austin Hust, was ejected from the vehicle during the impact with a street sign. He sustained fatal injuries at the scene and was pronounced deceased by medical personnel.

Additionally, the police department confirmed that the initial incident involved a stabbing or shooting. An individual connected to this earlier event managed to drive themselves to Good Samaritan Hospital and was subsequently transferred to UC Medical Center for further treatment. The current status or condition of this second person remains undisclosed at this time.
