Tragically, a male resident of Louisville has passed away following a collision on Dixie Highway. The incident occurred on Sunday morning at approximately 6 a.m. in Meade County.
According to Kentucky State Police, the driver of a sedan, traveling northbound on Dixie Highway, collided with a pedestrian. The identity of the pedestrian, who is now deceased, is Troy Jackson, a 34-year-old man from Louisville.
The Meade County Coroner’s Office confirmed that Jackson succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The driver of the sedan was transported to a hospital in Elizabethtown with non-life-threatening injuries.
As of now, the ongoing investigation aims to determine the full circumstances surrounding the accident.
