The Rock County Medical Examiner’s office officially confirmed the identity of the individual who met her demise in a serious automobile collision that happened on Monday. This particular woman, described as being from Whitewater, has been identified as Terri L. Apgar, who was 56 years of age.
Initial reports from the medical examiner’s preliminary analysis reveal that the individual’s passing was a direct outcome of the physical harm received during the accident, with additional tests still in progress to confirm the specifics.
Law enforcement officials from the Rock County Sheriff’s Office responded to an emergency call at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, which was reported from the 1100 block of E CTH N in Lima Township concerning a traffic mishap involving injuries.
Further examination by the investigating team uncovered that a female driver, aged 56, was in control of a vehicle that was moving westbound on East CTH N when she inadvertently crossed over into the eastbound lane, leading to a direct impact with an oncoming sport utility vehicle.
The person driving the SUV, a man from Janesville who was 53 years old, was quickly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment and is anticipated to make a full recovery without any lasting harm.
