Rawlyn Strizich passed away as a result of a serious vehicle accident earlier this week. Her identity was officially confirmed on Wednesday.
Carbon County law enforcement confirmed Rawlyn Strizich was the person operating the vehicle involved in a two-car collision reported at 8:15 a.m. on October 20th. The crash took place on Highway 310 near mile marker 41.
According to the Montana Highway Patrol, Ms. Strizich, who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time, was driving a Ford Fusion along the southbound lanes when she crossed into the opposite lane. This resulted in a direct head-on collision with a Kenworth truck traveling northbound. The 67-year-old operator of the truck sustained only slight injuries.
Back in 2018, Rawlyn Strizich gained attention when she lost her job after admitting to taking over 1,000 pills. These were evidence items collected by the Billings Police Department for more than 130 different cases. She formally acknowledged her actions in relation to this incident.
