A man met his demise in a motor vehicle mishap close to Clinton on Monday afternoon. Law enforcement officials confirmed the identity of the deceased individual.
The DeWitt County official in charge of postmortem examinations announced via a formal communication that a motorist, identified as Thomas J. Lobano, who is 29 years of age and hails from Clinton, was piloting a vehicle that was moving westbound along Route 54 towards Clinton. According to the official report, this automobile subsequently departed the roadway and landed in a forested zone alongside the road. The official added that the individual, Thomas J. Lobano, was pronounced deceased at the exact spot by medical personnel at 7:28 p.m. on Monday.
The incident is currently being looked into by the authorities.
