Responders located the individual following reports of gunfire in the Post Oak Boulevard area. Law enforcement officials stated that detectives concluded the incident occurred during a personal dispute. The person responsible for the violence managed to leave the premises before police arrived.

Shortly following the occurrence, a 38-year-old named Nelson Garcia was apprehended in Irving. According to authorities, Garcia reached out to law enforcement and confessed to being the one who fired the weapon.
