According to Tarrant County medical examiner’s office findings, the 23-year-old woman received fatal injuries stemming from a bullet wound to the head. This occurred on Tuesday evening.
Following an initial report concerning a shooting incident, Fort Worth police located Ms. Majano within the 700 block of Post Oak Boulevard. Following their investigation, detectives concluded the death resulted from a domestic conflict. The person responsible for firing the weapon then departed the scene.
Later that same day, Nelson Garcia, a 38-year-old man, was apprehended by police in Irving. When questioned by law enforcement, Garcia informed them that he was the one who fired the weapon causing Ms. Majano’s death. Standard jail intake procedures were followed, and Garcia was placed under financial bonds totaling $500,000.
