Cheektowaga law enforcement identified the deceased woman, Heather Cottone, who was 54 years old. The fatal accident occurred late Thursday evening, with initial reports suggesting the incident took place around 11:30 p.m.
According to the police statement, Ms. Cottone was involved in a crash that also included two minors. The details indicated she was thrown from her car during the impact. Paramedics arrived at the location promptly but were unable to save her life.
The other vehicle involved was driven by a 15-year-old, with a second teenager as a passenger. Neither of those individuals sustained injuries severe enough to require medical attention, and they were seen remaining at the scene shortly after the event.
