Fatal Acushnet motorcycle crash death of Michah Nason
The identity of the man killed in a Saturday night motorcycle accident in Acushnet has been confirmed. Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III announced that the deceased was 27-year-old Michah Nason from Plymouth, Massachusetts.
According to reports received by Acushnet Police and emergency medical services around 10:10 p.m. on October 25, a collision occurred near 444 Main Street in Acushnet. Initial responders discovered a 2010 Harley Davidson motorcycle, described as having suffered catastrophic damage, positioned outside the building at that address.
The District Attorney’s office noted that Mr. Nason was separated from his motorcycle at the scene and suffered critical injuries. Medical personnel transported him to a nearby hospital, where he was declared deceased the following Sunday morning.
Law enforcement agencies, including the Massachusetts State Police working alongside the District Attorney’s office and Acushnet Police, are continuing to investigate the incident. However, preliminary findings suggest that only a single vehicle, the motorcycle, was involved in the accident.
