Baltimore Police have officially identified the individual who lost their life in a tragic double shooting incident as 22-year-old Tyree Brooks. Authorities also confirmed that a young child sustained injuries during the violent encounter. As of now, no suspect has been apprehended.

According to law enforcement reports, officers from the Baltimore Police Department responded to a Shot Spotter alert around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. They proceeded to the 3200 block of Reisterstown Road in the north Baltimore area, where the incident occurred.

Upon their arrival, officers discovered two individuals injured by gunshot wounds. Emergency medical services transported the victims to nearby medical facilities. Tragically, Tyree Brooks was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

Baltimore Police have not yet confirmed their suspicion regarding whether Tyree Brooks was the intended target. Detectives are also investigating potential suspects and the underlying motives for the crime. It has been reported that the 7-year-old child involved was not a target but an innocent bystander. The young boy was struck by a bullet while inside a vehicle that was passing by the location.
