Fatal Forest City shooting death of Tyler D. Weaver
Law enforcement authorities released additional details regarding the fatal break-in that took place in Forest City on Friday, October 24. Both the Forest City Police Division and the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Bureau were dispatched to the scene shortly after 9:50 a.m. at a property situated on Harris Lee Drive.
When officers arrived at the premises, they discovered a 25-year-old individual, Tyler D. Weaver, already lying on the ground. Medical personnel at the site confirmed that Mr. Weaver had sustained fatal injuries and passed away before the arrival of the responding officers.
Further examination was conducted Monday, with the autopsy results confirming that Mr. Weaver’s demise was due to numerous wounds caused by firearms. At this time, no arrests have been made, although investigators have identified several individuals under scrutiny and are continuing their search for answers.
