Charles Anthony Leslie II and Charles Darrin Smith die in fatal Spartanburg County, S.C. car crash

Two people died following a vehicle rollover on October 18th in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. The fatal collision happened at approximately 2:58 a.m. on Old Furnace Road, close to Southland Avenue. A Ford Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) that was heading east on the road lost control, went off the right side of the roadway, landed in a ditch, turned over, and collided with a tree.

The occupants of the vehicle, who were both confirmed deceased, were the ones killed in the accident. Charles Anthony Leslie II, who was 40 years old and from Boiling Springs, was officially identified on October 19th by the local Coroner’s Office. The second victim, Charles Darrin Smith, was 62 years old and without a listed home address. He was recognized through the fingerprints found on the car.
