Upon their arrival at the Wolcott Road location, specifically the 800 block, responders determined it was a hit-and-run situation. Mr. Richardson was transported to a regional medical facility following the collision, where healthcare providers addressed his severe injuries.
Despite receiving critical care, Mr. Richardson’s condition did not improve and he ultimately succumbed to his wounds the subsequent day, according to police statements. The individual of interest, identified as 24-year-old Jesus Gavidia-Vivas, remains a person of concern for this offense, and law enforcement continues their search.
