Fatal Rockford car crash death of Bradley Acaley.

Early Saturday morning, authorities reported a collision on Rockford’s southwest side. The incident occurred around 2 a.m. on November 1st. Bradley Acaley, a 49-year-old from Mt. Morris, was identified as the driver involved. He was traveling south on Prairie Road, close to the intersection with South Main Street, according to the Winnebago County Coroner’s Office. A preliminary report stated he lost control of his vehicle. He was the only person occupying the car at the time.

Emergency services arrived at the scene to find the vehicle approximately 85 feet off the roadway. The Blackhawk and New Milford Fire Department reported that Acaley was trapped inside the car. Paramedics assessed him as unresponsive upon their arrival. Tragically, the Winnebago County Coroner’s Office confirmed that Acaley was pronounced deceased at the location.

The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating this fatal traffic accident.
