Fatal Rochester shooting death of Aajion Wright
Emergency crews responded to a shooting on Warwick Avenue around 11 p.m. on October 9th after receiving reports of gunfire in the vicinity. Upon arrival, responders located a 16-year-old male, later identified as Aajion Wright, injured in a driveway between two residences. Wright was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital but pronounced deceased at the medical facility.
Wright’s shooting death is currently under investigation by homicide detectives. According to police, a 16-year-old male, Ke’yon Warren, is being sought as a person of interest in connection with the incident. The Rochester Police Department is requesting public assistance to locate Warren.
Police records indicate Warren is an African American juvenile. Physical description details include a reported height of 5 feet 8 inches and an approximate weight of 140 pounds.
