Fatal Meade County shooting death of Scott Hornback
Kentucky State Police responded to a residence on Simpson Lane in Ekron around noon on Monday following a report of an individual found deceased. Troopers discovered Mary Crase, who was 55 years old and from Brandenburg, had succumbed to multiple gunshot injuries. The individual responsible for this fatal act, identified as 45-year-old Scott Hornback from Irvington, left the location before the arrival of emergency responders.
Approximately eleven in the evening, authorities confirmed that Hornback’s body had been located by police. Further official information published on the 4th of November stated that Hornback had taken his own life with a gunshot wound. Details from this subsequent announcement indicated the suspect was found lifeless inside a car belonging to a relative at a property situated on Burgundy Lane. Meade County Coroner personnel arrived and officially pronounced Hornback deceased.
