Fatal Greenwood car crash death of Marshall Reddy Jr.
Investigators have identified the individual killed in a Sunday traffic collision along Elysian Fields Road near Greenwood. The Caddo Coroner’s Office has officially named the deceased as Marshall Reddy Jr.
According to reports from Caddo Sheriff deputies, Reddy sustained injuries after his Ford Mustang experienced a rollover. This resulted in the driver being trapped under the vehicle. A second occupant was thrown from the car and suffered non-critical injuries.
The preliminary findings from the coroner’s office indicate that the Mustang was moving at a high speed when the driver lost control. This caused the vehicle to cross the center line and depart the roadway. Deputies arrived at the scene at 4:10 p.m.
Multiple agencies responded quickly, including Greenwood police and Caddo Fire District 3 personnel. Following the incident, Mr. Reddy was transported to Ochsner LSU Health. Tragically, he was pronounced dead at 4:57 p.m.
