Fatal Kansas City, Kansas shooting death of Anna Juarez
Wyandotte County law enforcement is investigating a homicide that occurred over the weekend in Kansas City, Kansas. According to a police statement, the victim has been identified as twenty-year-old Anna Juarez.
Early Saturday morning, just before the 4:30 a.m. hour, officers from the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department were dispatched to the vicinity of North 11th Street and Barnett Avenue. Their call related to a shooting incident.
Upon their arrival at the location, the officers discovered Juarez outside her residence. She had sustained gunshot wounds. Medical personnel transported her to the hospital, but she unfortunately succumbed to her injuries. At this time, a person of interest is being held by the authorities.
