PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. — An individual was killed in a collision along Interstate 95 South in Prince George County on Tuesday evening, according to the Virginia State Police.
The crash between a large truck and a passenger car happened at the 37 mile marker approximately at 7:45 p.m., state police reported.
One person died as a result of their injuries.
“Law enforcement officers are currently working to identify the deceased and notify their family,” state police indicated.
The crash remains under investigation. According to the VDOT traffic map, the south left shoulder, left lane, center lane and right lane are closed.
