Bee Lao died in a fatal Sacramento car crash.
Fatal Sacramento car crash death of Bee Lao.
SACRAMENTO, California – Law enforcement identified a 46-year-old man killed during a Sunday evening collision as Bee Lao. Sacramento authorities reported receiving a dispatch around 6:30 p.m. to the intersection of Del Paso Boulevard and Marysville Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers found a pedestrian lying injured in the road.
The individual involved in the accident remained at the location with the responding officers.
Mr. Lao was a father to a two-year-old son and four daughters, aged between five and fourteen. His spouse set up a fundraising campaign on a platform similar to GoFundMe, stating her husband was “a very kind person who was always friendly to everyone” and seeking aid for funeral costs and essential living expenses.
Initially, police suspected the pedestrian might have been hit by two separate cars, and one of the vehicles might have left the scene. However, subsequent investigation results suggested only a single vehicle was involved in the incident.
Sacramento police confirmed there was no indication the driver was under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the crash.
Sacramento police urge anyone with relevant information concerning this event to get in touch with the local police department.
