A 41-year-old man from Parlier lost his life in a tragic intersection collision when his personal vehicle collided with the rear of a large commercial truck on American Avenue, as confirmed by local authorities. The unfortunate incident took place near the Pom Wonderful plant in the Del Rey area on the early morning hours of November 5, 2025.
Investigators stated that the Dodge Challenger, which was being operated by the deceased, was traveling at an excessive speed and the driver was not secured by a seatbelt at the time of the accident. The force of the impact caused the semi-truck to lose control and cross into the opposite lane of traffic, resulting in injuries to the truck driver, who was subsequently transported to a medical institution.
